Calum Pratt Beautiful, almost plagal, vocal arrangement on 'The Rooks'. Brilliant voice, inventive songwriting, a throughly English style... what's not to like? A very cohesive mini-EP. Favorite track: The Rooks.

Bren Robinson I think I floated away the first time I heard this... and every time thereafter. Favorite track: Bellissima (Parts I & II).

about

All the songs on Roof Over Our Heads were written with the acoustics of a church in mind. This EP is more ambient and meditative, with inspiration from old English folk songs written in admiration of one's local landscapes, with medieval influence in the melodies.

I originally wrote this album to raise money for a little church in my village, St Peter's in Staple Fitzpaine, that was the victim of lead thievery and consequentially suffered major water damage over the Winter storms that put a vast amount of the South-West under water.
